Smarter memory search
Your agents and the dashboard can now find memories by topic, with the best matches first.
Search used to look for the exact text you typed, so a query like "database migration plan" could come back empty even when a relevant memory existed. Now your agents are far more likely to find what they've already stored.
Search works the same way for agents, the REST API, and the dashboard:
- Search by topic. A memory can match on any word in your search, including close variations, so "migration" also finds "migrations".
- See the best matches first. Results are ranked by relevance instead of listed alphabetically, and memories with a match in their key rank higher.
- Find words inside keys. Searching "acme" now finds a key like
project.acme.db.
Exact text and partial words still work, so "conf" will still find "config".
In the dashboard, results now default to the new Best match sort, and you can still switch to sorting by key or date at any time.
